Foolowing are the steps to be followed for disabling gmail ads,
1.Go to your gmail account
2.Goto setting
3.Now click on the webclips tab
4.Untick the show my webclips above inbox box
Now just return to your inbox.You will find that the ads are removed.If you again want to enable it you can tick that box again
